Industry calls for universal compliance standard

Article 1At yesterday’s Freight in the City event, the key industry event promoting sustainable urban deliveries, it was revealed that operators believe there should be a universal compliance standard for fleets in order to improve safety across the UK.

The study was carried out by Freight in the City and revealed that 85% of decision makers involved in transporting freight believe that there should be a single UK-wide compliance standard across the logistics sector.

10 delegates awarded with FORS Practitioner status this week

FORS is pleased to announce that 10 delegates have completed the FORS workshop programme and have been awarded with FORS Practitioner status this week.

To date over 300 individuals have achieved FORS Practitioner status after completing the nine workshops which include five safety dedicated modules. The workshops have been well received and have been applauded by operators in attendance. FORS operators are encouraged to complete all workshops and achieve FORS Practitioner status.
