FORS accredited operators are encouraged to remove the old Transport for London FORS logo from their vehicle/s and replace it with the new logo which is available electronically from FORS online.

The updated FORS logo is available to download free of charge as a print ready pdf and shows your unique FORS ID number and accreditation level.

Tyne and Wear FORS Practitioner Workshops

Tyne and Wear FORS is continuing to provide a series of funded half day workshops designed to assist you in improving the safety and efficiency of your operation. If you deliver into the Tyne and Wear area you are encouraged to attend.

The workshops are for FORS registered companies, however non FORS registered operators can attend the Going for Bronze workshop, which will give an insight into attaining FORS bronze and the benefits of the scheme. We strongly recommend registering if you are considering joining FORS.

Free tool can help you meet FORS incident and collision reporting requirement

The Construction Logistics and Cyclist Safety (CLOCS) programme, has launched a new toolkit to help transport managers manage, report and analyse road traffic collisions in a consistent way.  Whilst it has been created for construction based operators, it is equally applicable to all types of fleet operations.

The toolkit aligns with FORS Bronze requirement O3 Incidents and Collisions – ‘fleet operators shall ensure that incidents, traffic collisions and reported near-misses are recorded, investigated and analysed, implementing actions to address any lessons learned and identified trends’.
