The FORS Governance and Standards Advisory Group (GSAG) will be meeting on the 15th May 2015 for the first time since the scheme was rolled out nationally.
The Group will lead and champion the direction of FORS to ensure the requirements of operators and specifiers are represented.
Established by the Partnership Board of the FORS Community Partnership the GSAG will ensure that FORS standards remain relevant to the industry’s needs and compatible with relevant legislation. It will also oversee the quality management standards guaranteeing the integrity of the scheme.
The governance board will work with stakeholders to ensure industry support, while safeguarding the FORS standards and brand.
The GSAG will be made up of four standing members, with one nominee from the three Partnership organisations, as well as from Transport for London. Further appointments to the GSAG will be made from a range of businesses and interested operators to provide a broad range of expertise and knowledge.
