Following the move to online learning in April 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, all FORS Professional manager training is now available to attend through the newly launched FORS Professional Virtual Classroom.
The new, secure FORS Professional Virtual Classroom, which was launched at the beginning of September, supports the announcement in May that FORS will continue to deliver all FORS Professional manager courses via webinar.
The FORS Professional Virtual Classroom gives members an enhanced virtual training experience, with delegates able to see each other and the trainer during the live session, making the experience more ‘classroom-like.’ The new platform includes an embedded assessment at the end of each webinar to ensure that the learning objectives have been met prior to the training records being uploaded to the FORS Professional training register.
All FORS Professional manager webinars are offered to members at a discounted rate, as follows:
|FORS Practitioner webinar||£40 + VAT|
|FORS Professional Car and Van Fleet Management Essentials||£50 + VAT|
|FORS Professional Collision Management||£50 + VAT|
|FORS Professional HGV/PCV Fleet Management Essentials||£75 + VAT|
|FORS Professional Time Smart – Fatigue Management||£75 + VAT|
|FORS Professional Time Smart – Drivers’ Hours||£75 + VAT|
|FORS Practitioner Recertification||£90 + VAT|
Sonia Hayward, FORS Manager, said: “Over 2,600 delegates have been trained remotely since April when all FORS Professional manager training was moved to online learning, with over 300 delegates in September alone through the new platform. Webinars are proving very popular with delegates, for personal reasons as it is more convenient than travelling to a venue, but also because they feel that they are reducing their environmental impact. One delegate trained on the new platform told us, ‘This was my first webinar training course and found (to my surprise) it to be more engaging than classroom courses previously attended. Excellent training method. Many thanks.’, which is very encouraging.”
FORS has also launched a new booking platform to enable its members to find out what manager training is available and book places with ease.
Delegates must have a computer or laptop with a working camera and microphone in order to attend FORS Professional webinars. To find out more about the new platforms, check the special webinar FAQs.
