Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is delighted to announce that it has reached its 100th Gold operator. CEVA Logistics, one of the world’s leading supply chain management companies, has been awarded the FORS Gold status at its operation in Kirkby Thore in the UK.
In order to receive this recognition, the CEVA team at Kirkby Thore demonstrated how they had increased MPG and reduced the number of blameworthy road traffic incidents across the operation.
Danny Brown, Director, CEVA Ground UK said: ‘At CEVA we are committed to operational excellence. Safety, sustainability and people development are of the utmost importance to us and this is reflected by our commitment to the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme. We want to ensure that we deliver the very best in the industry and having FORS Gold status demonstrates to our customers that we are consistently operating at the highest standard.’
Steve Agg FCILT, Chairman of the FORS Governance and Standards Advisory Group, said: ‘This is a significant milestone in the development of the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme and we are delighted to announce CEVA Logistics as our 100th Gold operator. Since taking the scheme national earlier this year we have experienced an astounding commitment to the scheme and its benefits. We look forward to working with more operators to ensure that organisations graduate through the scheme so that the benefits of FORS are experienced across the UK.’
