A reminder that FORS Professional driver and manager training courses have been awarded Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (UK).
CPD is an integral part of FORS membership and this recognition helps ensure an ongoing structured programme of personal development for managers, drivers and other staff employed in the fleet operation.
The award of CPD hours is as follows:

|Practitioner Workshops x 10||1||1.5 per workshop = 15|
|Time Smart Drivers’ Hours Management||1||3.5|
|Time Smart Fatigue Management||1||4|

CPD is ‘the systematic maintenance and improvement of knowledge, skills and competence throughout a professional’s working life’. Keeping knowledge and skills up to date in today’s fast-changing world of fleet operations is vitally important and also helps meet FORS professional development requirements D4, S5 and G5.
