FORS, the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme, will be supporting the annual CIPS Conference, held by the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply, which this year will focus on procurement and supply: unlocking competitive advantage.
FORS is pleased to be supporting CIPS as the sponsor for its Procurement and Supply Conference at The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, London, on Tuesday 17 October. The Annual Conference will cover issues with a focus on securing new business and remaining competitive.
FORS will also be speaking at the event during one of the breakout sessions. Glen Davies, FORS Technical Adviser, will discuss how supply chain sustainability programmes and supplier diversity can drive value and competitive advantage. His presentation will look at how organisations are starting to see the moral and economic benefits of managing the social impacts of their supply chains. The full agenda for the conference is available to view here.
“There will always be a need to have a competitive edge in winning new business, with procurement teams looking for what sets companies apart from others, but also ensuring that they work to the highest standards” commented Glen Davies. “The CIPS Conference is a great opportunity to discuss how to remain a valuable supplier but also being sustainable, something that the FORS Standard pushes.”
Cath Hill, Group Marketing Director, Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply, (CIPS), said, “We’re delighted that FORS is sponsoring our Annual Conference. This event is set to be one of our most interesting yet, with a range of topics that will help explore the opportunities available to suppliers, and how procurement teams can ensure they are working with the best companies.”
