The Revolve24 cycling endurance event – the annual 24-hour cycling challenge – will take place at Brands Hatch Motor Circuit, 16-17 September 2017.
This event is a great opportunity for the construction industry to come together and show its support for cycle safety. FORS Gold member, Conquip Engineering Group, is sponsoring this year’s Revolve24 to raise awareness of cycle safety in the construction sector.
Last year, Conquip supported a team of four employees, sponsoring cycling kits and donating to the 2016 charity of the year, Help for Heroes. Taking to the tracks again this year, its two teams of cyclists will be helping to raise money for Conquip’s 2017 charity of choice, Cancer Research UK.
Conquip will also take a truck exhibit to the event to help raise cyclists’ awareness around large vehicles, in particular its blind spots. The truck will be equipped with some of the latest safety equipment, highlighting the effort that Conquip, and the wider transport industry, is making to help protect vulnerable road users.
