The document provides guidance on the compliance and enforcement activities administered by FORS, and explains how your FORS accreditation may be affected if you breach the FORS Standard or the FORS Terms and Conditions.
The recent updates include:
- The ability to suspend a company that fails to respond to a formal notification requesting information
- The new reduced timeframe to report Work Related Road Risk (WRRR) related infringements
- Introduction of specific operating centre sanctions rather than the whole company being affected by a regional issue (unless the reported non-compliance is a company-wide issue)
- The requirement for companies to maintain compliance with UK (and country of origin) transport, safety and environmental legislation
