How to work out your FORS fee

Fees frozen for third year running

Your FORS fee is made up of:

  • The annual subscription fee – based on total number of vehicles in scope of FORS accreditation
  • An audit fee – based on the number of operating centres accredited

Subscription fees


Annual subscription 1 to 5 vehicles

1 – 5 vehicles £80 + VAT per vehicle
1 vehicle only special rate £65 + VAT

Annual subscription 6 to >100 vehicles

Fleet size 6-10 11-25 26-50 51-100 >100
Subscription fee – based on total fleet size £420 + VAT £630 + VAT £900 + VAT £1,700 + VAT £2,250 + VAT

To calculate your bronze audit fee you need to identify the number of audits that you require.

The fee for each operating centre audit is:

Your Bronze audit fee is:

Annual Bronze audit fee

Number of audits per year (B) multiplied by audit fee (C) = Annual Bronze audit fee


Your total annual Bronze FORS fee is:

Total annual Bronze FORS fee 

Annual subscription fee (A) plus annual Bronze audit fee (D) = Total annual Bronze FORS fee

FORS Silver and Gold fees

Annual Silver and Gold FORS accreditation is as follows:

Silver operators: Silver evidencing fee required every year and a Bronze evidencing fee required every two years.

Gold operators: Gold evidencing fee required every year, Silver evidencing fee required every year, and a Bronze audit fee required every two years. Please note, the Gold evidencing fee is free for smaller operators (1-3 vehicles).

Whole Fleet Accreditation (WFA)

FORS companies who have their own audit infrastructure in place can be approved by FORS to audit their own operating centres.

Fees are based on the fleet size and number of auditors. Price on application.

Follow-up audits

An audit convened to observe the correction of any found action point
