There is an increasing demand to manage Work Related Road Risk (WRRR) for different driving environments. As a result, training providers are encouraged to apply to deliver Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) training.
Many company contracts require commercial drivers to complete approved training that specifically covers the safety of all vulnerable road users, WRRR training ensures that all drivers, including those exempt or not in scope of DCPC, have the knowledge, skills and attitude required to recognise, assess, manage and reduce the risks that their vehicle poses. Vehicles should meet specifications and drivers have to complete certain training in order to be fully compliant.
A reminder – the process for delivering our approved training or getting your course approved has changed. Providers currently delivering approved courses would have received an email explaining the changes. If you have not received an email, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
