Then, a choice from any of the remaining modules \u2013 including the new five modules \u2013 will see participants \u2018graduate\u2019 as a FORS Practitioner with a knowledge-set specific to their own career and workplace. The additional five modules have been carefully devised to reflect modern fleet management awareness, and include:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Managing driver fatigue risk<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Managing drivers\u2019 hours<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Managing abnormal indivisible loads<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Introduction to fleet auditing<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Road traffic collision investigation<\/p>\n<p>The five new modules provide flexibility for participants as they pursue their goal of achieving FORS Practitioner status. From the pre-existing ten modules candidates must undertake six on a mandatory basis. They include; Managing Work Related Road Risk \u2013 Managing Driver Fitness &amp; Health \u2013 Managing Driver Training &amp; Development \u2013 Collision Procedures &amp; Analysis \u2013 Vehicle Serviceability &amp; Roadworthiness \u2013 Fuel Efficiency &amp; Low Emissions.<\/p>\n<p>The FORS Practitioner programme is arguably the jewel in the crown of the FORS Professional training portfolio \u2013 the most comprehensive training resource for drivers and managers presently available in the transport industry. To date, over 3,200 individuals have graduated from the FORS Practitioner programme.<\/p>\n<p>More widely, FORS Professional offers a vast range of eLearning and online webinars, while fully qualified training providers deliver practical training courses for drivers such as Van Smart, LoCITY Driving and Safe Urban Driving. Managers are also afforded a full suite of courses offering dedicated learning pathways.
