Sheffield University Management School is holding a workshop on 28 September aimed at local authority transport planners, logistics operators and transport managers.

The objectives of the workshop are to raise awareness of the impact and implications that urban transport policy has on crucial freight movements and operations, and to identify how to make more informed and efficient transport policies in the future.

To become a FORS Certification Body, organisations must apply and adhere to the processes and requirements set out in the FORS ‘Requirements for certification bodies’ manual which should be read in conjunction with the FORS Standard. The purpose of the requirements is to ensure that all FORS Certification Bodies offer a consistent high quality service to members.

FORS team are presenting the ‘Going Ultra Low with Commercial Vehicles’ workshop at Arrive’n’Drive

On 22 September, as part of GreenFleet’s Arrive’n’Drive event, Paul Wilkes, Business Service Manager, and Daniel Bowden, Performance Manager, from FORS will be facilitating a “Going Ultra Low with Commercial Vehicles” workshop.

The workshop aims to help commercial fleet operators gain a better understanding of the ultra-low and plug-in vehicle market, allowing them to ascertain whether this new technology can be assimilated into everyday transport operations.
