FORS Associate Mates in Mind urges fleets to make mental health a priority amid Coronavirus

FORS Associate Mates in Mind has issued guidance for managing the mental health of your staff during the Coronavirus outbreak, focusing on those who find themselves working from home.

The helpful guidance includes a briefing tool to use for reassuring, signposting and supporting your teams during these uncertain times, as well as an ‘Employer’s Supporting Remote Working Checklist’ developed to help managers support their workforces and a ‘Homeworking Mental Health Tips’ guide.

The mental health charity was set up by the Health in Construction Leadership Group (HCLG) and is supported by the British Safety Council in its aim to provide industry employers with guidance to support the mental health of its workforce. Initially established to improve mental health within the UK construction industry, Mates in Mind’s services have now expanded across various supply-chain and related industries.
